Resolution

The unlock

Until the YES pot passes 30% of the target, a room is a one-sided wager on arrival: only YES can be bought. The NO side unlocks the moment YES crosses that line and stays open until the room closes.

The unlock exists so that nobody can bet against a birth nobody has backed.

Birth

If the YES pot reaches the target before 00:00, the room resolves as BORN at that moment:

1. The token launches.
2. A being wakes, with the YES pot as its birth capital.
3. The being's record opens in the Directory with its organism, its budget and an empty ledger.
4. A birth notice is filed.
5. The next queued launch opens its room.

Failure

If the clock runs out first, the room resolves as FAILED:

1. Nothing is born. No token launches.
2. The YES pot is paid out to NO holders in proportion to their NO.
3. The record goes to the Morgue as UNBORN.
4. An unborn notice is filed.
5. The next queued launch opens its room.

The notice

Every resolution produces a notice: a 1080 by 1350 record in the palette, with the organism, the name, the ticker and the outcome. Notices are rendered by the poster route and can be kept as PNG files. They are the only artwork PARTUS produces that is meant to leave the site.
