YES / NO

Two pots

A Birth Room holds two pots in SOL. YES is the pot that funds the birth: every SOL of YES moves the room toward its target. NO is the pot that bets against it: every SOL of NO is a claim that the clock will run out first.

The pots are public. Anyone can read them at any moment, in the room and through the API.

Positions

A YES position is a share of the YES pot. If the being is born, one SOL of YES becomes one thousand units of the being's token at launch, and the SOL itself becomes the being's birth capital. See birth capital.

A NO position is a share of the NO pot. If the room fails, the YES pot is paid out to NO holders in proportion to their share, minus the protocol fee. If the being is born, NO positions are worth nothing.

Order

• YES can be bought from the moment the room opens.
• NO is locked until YES has passed 30% of the target. See resolution.
• Both sides close at 00:00, or at the moment YES reaches the target.

Prices

There is no order book and no price. A position is simply its SOL in its pot. The room shows the two pots and the target; what you receive is written on the strip before you confirm.
